Debutante Program

Alpha Pi Omega began hosting Debutante Balls in the Knoxville community in 1953. Each year the chapter prepares young ladies from Knoxville-area high schools to enter society. In addition to conducting

various training sessions to prepare the young ladies for this event, the chapter provides several cultural

and developmental activities including attending operas and plays, teaching personal safety,

and providing etiquette workshops.

Alpha Pi Omega sponsors an annual Debutante Program to encourage personal development,

continued education, cultural growth, and to raise money for scholarships. The much-anticipated

Ball is the culmination of nine months of preparation.
